For the subject, language is not something natural. Starting with Derrida's proposal, that the subject is monolinguist of a language that is not is own, the purpose of this paper is to study the impact of the language in the subject's inscription. This inscription is achieved by the signifier, as demonstrate by Lacan, and introduces the existence of the subject as divided by the alienation of his unconscious.

A linguagem não é inata no sujeito. Partindo da proposta de Derrida, que o sujeito é monolingue de uma linguagem que não é a sua, o objecto desta comunicação é estudar o impacto da linguagem na inscrição do sujeito. Esta inscrição é feita pelo significante, como foi demonstrado por Lacan, e introduz a existência do sujeito como barrado pela alienação do seu inconsciente.
