Pensar contemporaneamente a Museologia

Abstract

No presente trabalho pretendemos analisar cinco documentos básicos que traduzem o Pensar Museológico no nosso século e que, principalmente, levaram os profissionais da área a aplicar esta “ciência” de forma menos hermética e a entender a sua prática. A opção em estuda-los e analisa-los, deve-se ao facto destes documentos influenciarem a prática e o pensar museológico actual. É impossível, nos dias actuais, falar de museologia sem referir um destes documentos, até mesmo porque estes levaram a elaboração de vários outros documentos, isso sem falarmos de algumas nações que até mesmo modificaram e/ou criaram leis especificas para a gestão da sua política cultural, preservacionista. De qualquer modo, temos consciência que este trabalho apenas se propõe fazer uma abordagem preliminar dos documentos, na medida em que a riqueza de seu conteúdo permitiria que nos atardassemos sobre toda uma infinidade de questões que eles levantam.
