Audiences have accompanied the US invasion of Iraq through the media. However, the sources of the US media are both official and massively pro-war. It is therefore legitimate to pose the following question: Were «embedded» reporters rigorous in the coverage of events? The answer would be negative, according to some journalists who experienced the situation. The truth is that the fabrication of reality by journalistic discourse has effects on that very reality, permanently reconstructing and altering the latter.
