Decolonizando os oratórios afro-brasileiros

Abstract

O presente texto aborda a decolonização dos oratórios domésticos afro-brasileiros e suas implicações enquanto aparelho de magia de uma religião de matriz européia que encontra subsídios em religiões de matrizes africanas ao longo dos séculos, e presume uma aculturação que permite resultar em uma simbiose de ritos, onde sobressaísse a religião católica imbuída de uma religiosidade particular afro-brasileira. Deste modo, busca-se compreender a decolonialidade imposta na utilização e criação destes objetos a partir da mão de obra, sua utilização e plasticidade. Para tanto, buscou-se arcabouço teórico em autores como Edgardo Lander (2000), Nelson Maldonado-Torres (2007), Dussel (1994), Menezes (1998), Barros (1982), Bérgson (1999) e Bosi (1987). O resultado permite compreender o objeto oratório doméstico enquanto detentor de áurea que permite compreendê-lo enquanto objeto passível de decolonização e descolonização. Permitindo assim, entender suas particularidades como objeto de memória que perpassa a individualidade alcançando a coletividade. Palavras-chave: Oratório Afro-brasileiro. Decolonialidade. Memória.
