Medicamentos manipulados em dermatologia

Abstract

The compounding pharmacy is an old practice that retraces to antique times and is considered of great value in community and hospital pharmacy because it allows the existence of a personalized therapy for every patient through the formulation of medicines with dosages and/or with pharmaceutical forms that aren't in the pharmaceutical industry market. However, nowadays, there isn’t enough information that enables to determine with certainty which factors influence the practice of pharmaceutical compounding in the pharmacies and hospitals and what are the perspectives and concerns that the professionals in the pharmaceutical area have about its practice and use. The main purpose of this study consists on a better understanding of the current panoramic of the compounding pharmacy and identify what are the future perspectives for this area in the opinion of pharmacists.
