Um fenómeno imagético que não só apelou para a reprodução pictórica das gravuras de episódios da vida de Cristo, da Virgem Maria e dos santos, mas adoptou outras formas, mais voltadas para a dimensão individual do crente, num apelo direto à conversão do seu coração. An imagery phenomena not only appealed to the pictorial reproduction of episodes of the life of Christ, the Virgin Mary and the Saints, but adopted other forms, more directed to the individual dimension of the believer, in a direct appeal to the conversion of his/her heart.
