Abstract

Each geographical location constitutes the basis of a landscape, and each society perceives values and constructs its own landscape in a different way. The Colombian Amazonian trapeze offers a unique opportunity to study the biophysical and social materialization of complex multidimensional relationships and processes in the configuration of sacred landscapes. With this purpose, this research was carried out, focused on the cultural value assigned by the Tikuna and Uitoto indigenous communities to Salados (sacred natural place for both communities). In the process, fieldwork was advanced to recognize the Salados in two resguardos, with the support and interaction with representatives of both communities. The analysis explains the perception and management of these spaces. The article concludes in the urgent need to recognize and make visible the importance of indigenous cultural management of sacred landscapes Universidad Pablo de Olavide
