Abstract

The objective of the working paper is the investigation on the reproductive behaviour of women fertility age according to certain socio-economic characteristics, as well as the use of the public services for the attention of the childbirth. Although in this first phase the models economic don’t present conclusive results, but interesting relationships have been observed which can open new investigation perspectives. Among them we highlight that women with superior education have less children than those with minor instruction levels, as well as the fact that they attend in more proportion to the public health centers. Thus, other relationships lead us to the need of deepening the investigation of this topic.
