Segmente der Welthandelsflotte: Eine Seemingly-Unrelated-Regressions-Analyse

Abstract

This paper examines the development of the most important segments of the world mer-chant fleet. Suitable factors which influence the dynamics of the different ship types significantly are identified by different estimation procedures within the scope of a SUR- analysis. Positive dependence between the capacities of the world merchant fleet and the world economy is quantified.
