Dinámica de ingresos asalariados en Argentina: un estudio sobre la base de registros administrativos

Abstract

El grado de movilidad de ingresos individuales es un factor importante para entender las dinámicas de los ingresos, en particular en aquellas sociedades con patrones disímiles de desigualdad monetaria. Complementar el estudio de la desigualdad con una perspectiva dinámica ayuda a comprender hasta qué punto una sociedad con mayor movilidad de ingresos contribuye a tendencias decrecientes en la desigualdad. Este trabajo pretende realizar una descripción de los cambios en la movilidad en Argentina para el periodo 1996-2015. El análisis es enriquecido con el estudio de potenciales determinantes de los cambios en el ingreso y de la probabilidad de que un individuo se mueva hacia arriba o hacia abajo en la distribución del ingreso. Para ello, explotamos una novedosa base de datos basada en registros administrativos que permite seguir a los asalariados formales a lo largo de, como máximo, veinte años.
