Abstract

Die wesentlichen Grundlagen für regionale Innovationsprozesse sind das vorhandene Wissen sowie die Fähigkeit, neues Wissen aufzunehmen und es kommerziell zu nutzen. Dabei kommt den Kooperationsbeziehungen und der Einbindung in überregionale Netzwerke große Bedeutung zu. Für die Innovationspolitik bestehen wesentliche Ansatzpunkte in der Stärkung der regionalen Wissensbasis sowie in der Förderung von Innovationen.
