Abstract

Gentrifizierung beschreibt den umfassenden Veränderungsprozess eines Wohngebiets, in dem die (immobilienwirtschaftlich, soziokulturell oder politisch induzierte) baulich-räumliche Aufwertung mit der Verdrängung der bisherigen durch statushöhere Bevölkerungsgruppen einhergeht bzw. diese voraussetzt.
