Die EU-27 sind wirtschaftlich hart von der Covid-19 Krise getroffen. Besonders den süd- und osteuropäischen Ländern versucht die EU-Kommission nun beizuspringen. Das vorgeschlagene 750 Milliarden Euro schwere Maßnahmenpaket zielt dabei weniger auf konjunkturelle Aspekte, sondern ist - der Rolle der EU angemessen - als langfristiges Wachstumspaket zu verstehen.
