Enfoque de las capacidades

Abstract

The capabilities approach is an appropriate conceptual framework to identify not the happiness or satisfaction of the people, but rather, what they may or may not be or do. Consequently, the capabilities approach focuses on the real freedom of people and moves away (without excluding) the means that allow freedom (income and resources). Based on the foregoing, this document sets as an objective to provide an approximation to the capabilities approach.
