Durch regionale Innovationsnetzwerke zu weltweiter Wettbewerbsfähigkeit?

Abstract

Innovationen werden mehr und mehr nicht von Einzelunternehmen sondern durch die Bündelung der Ressourcen verschiedener Akteure aus Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft in Netzwerken hervorgebracht. Durch die Netzwerkbildung können die Nachteile kleinbetrieblicher Wirtschaftsstrukturen im Innovationsprozess ausgeglichen werden. Insbesondere für Ostdeutschland sind in den letzten Jahren eine Reihe von Förderprogrammen initiiert worden, die auf die Unterstützung von regionalen Unternehmensnetzwerken gerichtet sind. Allerdings besteht jetzt schon die Gefahr einer überbordenden Programmvielfalt bei der Förderung.
