Estratégia de moda: De “mono product” a “single brand”

Abstract

Keywords: Estrategia, moda, mono product, single brand

Managing the success of a company is getting more and more difficult. The studies about strategy are generous. Every company getting some attention, in a market defined as a jungle, must be in the eye of the storm for the scholars in the matter. Recently we have seen many changes in the structure of the biggest companies in fashion. Red numbers have attacked the outdated structures built over a bunch of values which collapsed after the recent changes in consumer’s behaviour. The world crisis of the last decade changed forever the consumers, who were abused by the overproduction of a luxury industry, still supported by a traditional old fashioned elitism. Why do brands are adopting the strategies mono-product and single brand in time of crisis? Why are there many brands adopting these strategies? Are these ways of managing adapted to future luxury consumers? Can strategy save luxury industry from a fatal destination?
