Ligamentoplastia do ligamento cruzado anterior por via artroscópica

Abstract

The knee joint is one of the most injured due to its anatomical structure, its exposure and functional external forces that are submitted. The anterior cruciate ligament is the ligament of the knee that shows complete rupture with greater frequency. It accounts for 50% of all knee ligament injuries. The occurrence of lesions of the anterior cruciate ligament has become more frequent not only due to road accidents, but also due to the practice of sports. The goals of treatment of anterior cruciate ligament ruptures are the restoration of knee stability, pain management and recovery functionality. The arthroscopic ligamentoplasty has been the most common surgical procedure to achieve these objectives. After surgery it is necessary to carry out a program of functional rehabilitation with the goal of achieving the proposed objectives. There is no consensus about the most appropriate rehabilitation treatment regimens. These usually involve high costs due to the resources that are needed, travel costs and time in which they need to be performed. This study aims to answer the following questions: according to the evaluation of the patient, what is the condition before surgery and after rehabilitation, and which difficulty and pain was experienced during treatment? Will patients have the opinion that there were more costs associated with the rehabilitation predominantly hospital? Will patients have the opinion that the part of the treatment in the hospital was the most important?
