The internship report includes a description of the activities developed within the scope of the Master’s Degree of Psychomotor Rehabilitation – Branch of Advancement of Professional Competencies, by the Faculty of Human Kinetics, which took place at the Hospital de Dia da Infância da Clínica do Parque do Hospital Dona Estefânia, in the academic year 2021/2022. This report includes a theoretical framework on mental health, psychomotricity, intervention methodologies and a description of the institution’s history and organization. It also includes the framing of the psychomotor intervention in the context of the institution which describes the organization of the activities carried out, the characterization of the population monitored and the therapeutical process of two case studies sent to the Child Day Hospital. For each case study, a presentation will be made of the personal and clinical history, the results of the initial assessment, the intra-individual profile, risk and protection factors, the explanatory hypotheses, the therapeutic-pedagogical program and the final results. The activities developed during the internship made it possible to verify the positive impact of the psychomotor intervention programs implemented, as well to reflect on the importance of psychomotricity in the context of children’s mental health.

O presente relatório de estágio compreende a descrição das atividades desenvolvidas no âmbito do estágio curricular do Mestrado em Reabilitação Psicomotora – Ramo de Aprofundamento de Competências Profissionais, pela Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, que se realizou no Hospital de Dia da Infância da Clínica do Parque do Hospital Dona Estefânia, no ano letivo 2021/2022. Este relatório incluiu um enquadramento teórico sobre a saúde mental, psicomotricidade, metodologias de intervenção e uma descrição da história e organização da instituição. Inclui também o enquadramento da intervenção psicomotora no contexto da instituição, no qual se descreve a organização das atividades realizadas, a caracterização da população acompanhada e o processo terapêutico de dois estudos de caso encaminhados para o Hospital de Dia da Infância. Para cada estudo de caso será feita uma apresentação da história pessoal e clínica, os resultados da avaliação inicial, o perfil intraindividual e fatores de risco e proteção, as hipóteses explicativas, o programa pedagógico- terapêutico e os resultados finais. A atividade desenvolvida durante o estágio permitiu verificar o impacto positivo dos programas de intervenção psicomotora implementados, bem como refletir sobre a importância da psicomotricidade no contexto da saúde mental infantojuvenil .
