Abstract

O presente Trabalho Final de Mestrado aborda o estágio realizado durante cinco meses no Departamento de Recrutamento e Employer Branding de uma empresa de retalho de moda, que solicitou anonimato. O processo de Recrutamento e Seleção (R&S) desempenha um papel crucial no sucesso organizacional, pois permite a atração e escolha de talentos qualificados, essenciais para a concretização dos objetivos estratégicos da empresa. Um R&S eficaz procura introduzir na empresa mão-de-obra com as competências técnicas necessárias, mas também alinhada com a cultura e os valores organizacionais, contribuindo para a sua coesão e desempenho a longo prazo. O foco principal do estágio centrou-se nas necessidades de recrutamento e nas técnicas de seleção para funções como Sales Assistants, Store Managers e District Managers. Estes processos englobam a triagem curricular, entrevistas telefónicas, presenciais ou via Microsoft Teams, e dinâmicas de grupo. Além disso, o estágio incluiu atividades no âmbito do Employer branding, que visam fortalecer a imagem empregadora da empresa e atrair talentos alinhados com os valores organizacionais. Este Trabalho Final de Mestrado, para além da descrição das atividades desempenhadas, incorpora também uma análise crítica que confronta as práticas observadas/realizadas com a revisão da literatura. Tal abordagem visa identificar tanto os pontos de convergência como as discrepâncias entre a teoria e a prática experienciada em contexto real. Neste âmbito, apresenta-se um plano para a implementação de um Programa de Embaixadores Internos, ancorado nos princípios de Employer Branding, com o objetivo de oferecer uma abordagem dinâmica e autêntica de recrutamento em áreas específicas.

This Final Master's Work covers a five-month internship in the Recruitment and Employer Branding Department of a fashion retail company, which has requested anonymity. The Recruitment and Selection (R&S) process plays a crucial role in organizational success, as it allows for the attraction and selection of qualified talent, essential for achieving the company's strategic objectives. Effective R&S seeks to bring into the company a workforce with the necessary technical skills, but also aligned with the organizational culture and values, contributing to its cohesion and long-term performance. The main focus of the internship was on recruitment needs and selection techniques for positions such as Sales Assistants, Store Managers and District Managers. These processes include CV screening, telephone interviews, face-to-face interviews or interviews via Microsoft Teams, and group dynamics. In addition, the internship included Employer Branding activities, which aim to strengthen the company's employer image and attract talent aligned with the organizational values. In addition to describing the activities carried out, this Final Master's Work also includes a critical analysis that compares the practices observed/carried out with the literature review. This approach aims to identify both the points of convergence and the discrepancies between theory and practice experienced in a real context. In this context, a plan is presented for the implementation of an Internal Ambassadors Program, anchored in the principles of Employer Branding, with the aim of offering a dynamic and authentic approach to recruitment in specific areas.
