Abstract

O sentimento de auto-eficácia (SAE) surge referenciado em muitos estudos como sendo uma das variáveis mais determinantes na qualidade do desempenho de acções, nomeadamente no esforço e perseverança que a ele estão associados. O presente estudo visou conhecer o sentimento de capacidade que os estudantes finalistas de Enfermagem revelam em relação ao desempenho do conjunto de competências que integram o seu perfil profissional. Para o efeito foi desenvolvida e validada uma escala de avaliação da auto-eficácia para o desempenho das competências profissionais em Enfermagem (EACPE). A EACPE foi aplicada a 475 alunos finalistas do curso de licenciatura em Enfermagem e submetido a análise factorial exploratória pelo método das componentes principais. obteve-se uma solução factorial final composta por 12 factores com 86 itens representativos da prática profissional de Enfermagem.
