The present study sought to analyze the behavior of two coaches, Head and Assistant coaches, of Football modality, over three observation phases of a sport´s season. The coaches belonged to the same technical staff, where they assumed their respective functions at the under 13 level. For the analysis of the coaches, was developed the S.O.A.T., observation system composed by 27 dimensions and 67 behavior categories. For the study’s analysis, was considered the occurrence and durability of the coaches’ behavior throughout the three observation phases, where each phase included ten training sessions. The results suggest a heterogeneity between the behavioral profile of the studied coaches, where in each observation phase significant differences were registered, and where the differences presented a progressive, but slow modifications, in each coach. It was found that the last observation phase showed a smaller number of significant differences in behavior between the Coaches, becoming more identical in the final phase of the season, where the high behavioral variability of the Head Coach in this observation phase suggests that he is the main responsible.
