Abstract

O objetivo do relatório de estágio consiste em aumentar a produtividade, testando o efeito da desponta na cultivar Glory Glue (GG). A desponta é uma operação cultural na qual se procede ao corte do último lançamento no ápice da planta, com o objetivo de quebrar a dominância apical. Assim, avaliou-se o peso das flores resultantes das cinco modalidades: A- Duas despontas: uma no viveiro (antes da plantação) e outra na estufa de produção (depois da plantação); B- Uma desponta no viveiro; C- Uma desponta na estufa de produção; D- Sem se realizar a desponta e mantendo a densidade de plantação de 8,5 plantas/m2; E- Sem se realizar a desponta e aumentando a densidade de plantação para 10 plantas/m2. Os resultados foram analisados estatisticamente e demonstraram que não existe diferença significativa no peso das flores em nenhumas das modalidades. A desponta não deve ser realizada na produção da cultivar GG e a sua densidade de plantação deve ser mantida a 8,5 plantas/m2, visto que seguindo esta modalidade diminuem-se custos de mão-de-obra, sem o prolongamento da fase vegetativa. Por último, relata-se ainda outras atividades desenvolvidas no estágio, relacionadas com a área de proteção de plantas

This report reflects the period of trainee at Terra Verde. Terra Verde is a company dedicated to the cultivation of medical cannabis. This report was developed to access the best production method for the cannabis cultivar Glory Glue (GG). The main purpose of this trial was to evaluate the effect of pinching on flower yield in order to increase productivity. Pinching is a method of cutting the growing tip of the plant, to induce the development of side branches. This study analyses flower weight among five different conditions: A- 1 st Pinching in the rooting area (before plantation) and the 2 nd Pinching in the greenhouse (after plantation); B- One pinching in the rooting area; C- One pinching in the greenhouse; D- No pinching and maintaining a plant density of 8,5 plants/m2 ; E- No pinching and increasing plant density to 10 plants/m2 . The data analysis revealed no differences among all the distinctive settings. Thus, GG cultivar should not be pinched nor produced on a higher plant density, reducing input costs and time spent on vegetative growth. Lastly, this report also reveals part of the period of internship related to my progress in the pest control team
