Abstract

In order to verify how public capital in infrastructures to educational or productive sector will affect long term increase, is built an inter-temporal optimisation model, where infinitely-lived households choose consumption and saving to maximize their dynastic utility, subject to an inter-temporal budget constraint. It is created a general model where the public capital is used in both productive and educational sector. Second, we develop a model with a separate in one we use public capital exclusively in productive sector and in the other we use public capital exclusively in educational sector. At last we compare both versions by numerical simulation in long term growth and in steady-state.
