In this master’s thesis, we study the adoption of Robotic Process Automation solutions through a case study carried out in a SME who is specialized in Accounting and Fiscal Consulting. For its implementation, a definition was initially made on which study path to follow, so we tried to understand in the first instance what was the concept of RPA, what tools and activities could be used, in which markets this technology is applied, where it fits best, and how we can adapt RPA to the real world of small and mediumsized companies to identify their biggest challenges when they want to adopt and implement an RPA solution. Firstly, the work methodology to be applied on the SME case study was defined, and then, the study phases were presented which led to the creation of two question forms to obtain information and draw conclusions. In that way, the main contribution of this work focuses on studying what is the level of automation already adopted in the company under study, which still has margin to be automated, through the identification of the most time-consuming and repetitive tasks by all the company employees. By doing so, It is possible to provide an output to the company as well as an overview of the acceptance of automation in the company by its employees, which processes each employee carries out on a daily basis and finally, the processes that are more time-consuming in terms of execution, in order to facilitate the identification of processes that it will make sense to automate in the future, taking into account the time that could be saved by implementing robots and the increase in people's satisfaction with the much lighter workload of repetitive and routine tasks.
