Efeito da Desfolha nas Trocas Gasosas de Vitis vinifera L. (cv. Jaen)

Abstract

Comparam-se os efeitos de três intensidades de desfolha (testemunha não desfolhada, eliminação de 3 e de 6 rolhas basais) sobre a actividade fotossintética e a produção da videira, casta Jaen. e suas repercussões na qualidade da uva. A desfolha originou um acréscimo significativo da taxa fotossintética e da condutância climática das folhas remanescentes mas não induziu qualquer efeito na eficiência do uso da água. Em comparação com a testemunha, a desfolha teve um efeito significativo e positivo sobre os teores em hexoses das folhas tendo a modalidade de desfolha mais intensa apresentado um teor em amido significativamente mais elevado que nos restantes tratamentos. Esses efeitos parecem ter permitido à planta realizar uma eficaz compensação uma vez que, apesar da desfolha ler originado uma perda significativa de área foliar activa, não provocou quaisquer efeitos significativos no vigor, o rendimento e teor em açúcar do mosto
