Abstract

Faz-se referência ao agente da eutipiose — Eutypa armeniacae Hansf. & Cárter e à sua forma conidial. Cytosporina — identificado pela primeira vez por Carter em 1957 na Austrália. Em Portugal detectámos esta doença pela primeira vez numa vinha no distrito de Setúbal, onde identificámos apenas a forma conidial localizada em lenho morto de videira, nas feridas de poda velhas, ou perto delas; mais tarde encontrámos picnídios de Cytosporina e peritecas de E. armeniacae, no Ribatejo, também nas feridas de poda velhas. Refere-se também o aparecimento doutras doenças que atacam o lenho nomeadamente a esca, a escoriose causada pelo Phomopsis vitícola (Sacc.) Sacc. e um estado patogénico conhecido por desnoca, sempre associado ao Macrophoma flacida (Viala & Ravaz) Cavara. Dão-se indicações sobre a distribuição geográfica da doença e sua sintomatologia, etiologia, epidemiologia e meios de luta
