Alguns insectos fitófagos em pomares de citrinos da Ilha do Faial (Açores).

Abstract

Durante a Expedição Científica "Faial 93", realizada entre 26 de Junho e 3 de Julho de 1993, foram efectuadas amostragens em pomares de citrinos para observação da entomofauna e acarofauna nocivas a esta cultura. 0s resultados agora apresentados referem-se, unicamente, aos insectos fitófagos encontrados nestes pomares. Foram observadas 14 espécies pertencentes a 7 famílias. As famílias Diaspididae, Coccidae e Aphididae, foram aquelas que apresentaram maior riqueza específica, representando cerca de 65% do total.
