Abstract

Objetivo: Avaliação in vitro das modificações cromáticas induzidas por materiais provisórios de CAD/CAM de diversas espessuras e cor em diferentes substratos. Materiais e Métodos: Foi realizada uma análise utilizando amostras de diferentes materiais provisórios. Essas amostras foram avaliadas antes e depois do emparelhamento com vários substratos. A análise envolveu a medição das coordenadas de cor (L*, a*, b*) utilizando um espectrofotómetro VITA Easyshade® V (VITA Zahnfabrik, Bad Säckingen, Alemanha). Os dados coletados foram submetidos a uma análise estatística usando o SPSS (Statistics Package for the Social Sciences) versão 28.0. Resultados: Os resultados do estudo indicaram que a luminosidade (L*) aumenta com a espessura do material em todas as amostras testadas. Além disso, houve uma leve tendência para o verde (valores a* negativos) e amarelo (valores b* positivos) à medida que a espessura do material aumentava. A análise estatística revelou diferenças significativas entre os diversos materiais e espessuras em termos de alteração de cor (ΔE*ab). Os materiais testados incluíram VITA CAD-Temp® e Telio® CAD, com desempenhos variados em estabilidade de cor e capacidade de mascaramento em diferentes substratos. Conclusão: Os resultados sugerem que a espessura do material influencia significativamente o resultado cromático dos materiais provisórios de CAD/CAM. Materiais mais espessos tendem a apresentar maior luminosidade e uma mudança para tons de verde e amarelo. O estudo fornece informações essenciais para os médicos dentistas na seleção de materiais provisórios adequados para a cor dos dentes com base nas propriedades cromáticas e espessura, garantindo restaurações dentárias estéticas e duradoras.
