Abstract

Esta pesquisa consiste numa reflexão sobre a importância do tema Pré-História para a comunidade do Médio Tejo - Portugal, partindo da mensuração do interesse das pessoas por este tema, tendo em vista o patrimônio arqueológico pré-histórico desta região, bem como as práticas dos saberes tradicionais, abordados através de experimentações. Engloba-se nesta análise uma investigação sobre as influências que as atividades de Arqueologia Experimental de artefatos e modos de vida, típicos do período pré-históricos, realizadas pelos serviços educativos do Museu de Mação (Andakatu), exercem sobre o ensino formal das crianças e jovens dos agrupamentos escolares da Comunidade do Médio Tejo. Inclui-se também neste estudo, a criação do Parque Arqueosocial Andakatu em Mação – PT, como instrumento educacional na transferência dos saberes tradicionais e na preservação do patrimônio desta localidade.
