Comportamentos de cidadania organizacional : uma revisão do conceito

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar uma revisão da literatura sobre o conceito de comportamento de cidadania organizacional (CCO), apresentando os diferentes estudos e propostas de conceptualização do mesmo, contribuindo assim para a compreensão e clarificação do construto. A literatura evidencia que não há ainda acordo relativamente à sua estrutura dimensional nem à relação entre o conceito e as suas dimensões, embora a conceção de CCO como um construto multidimensional latente seja a mais frequentemente utilizada e aceite pelos investigadores. A maior parte dos estudos considera os CCO como um construto com 5 dimensões (altruísmo, conscienciosidade, virtude cívica, cortesia e desportivismo) embora os estudos em culturas não ocidentais tenham identificado também outras dimensões. Esta revisão contribui para a divulgação do conceito, oferecendo uma visão abrangente da evolução da investigação neste domínio.
