Aprender literacia financeira a jogar na natureza!

Abstract

Presentemente, torna-se importante proporcionar às crianças um contacto com a Natureza, de forma que elas possam explorar o que as rodeia, desafiando-se e desenvolvendo-se a vários níveis: motor, social, emocional e cognitivo. Proporcionar à criança momentos de brincadeira livre, é dar-lhes autonomia, permitindo-lhe construir o seu próprio conhecimento. A Natureza, um espaço onde cabem todos os saberes e todas as disciplinas, aliada à sala de aula, pode ser um complemento ao método de ensino tradicional. Aqui o jogo pode assumir-se como mais do que uma simples ferramenta educativa, pode ser o ponto de partida para a criança aprender de forma autónoma e colaborativa, assumindo o papel principal no seu processo de aprendizagem. A aprendizagem assume um papel que vai para além dos conteúdos do currículo e, num mundo em constante transformação, é importante dotar a criança de competências que lhe permitam fazer face à adversidade e que lhe possibilitem, a longo prazo, ser capaz de ter autonomia financeira. Assim, as próximas páginas apresentam um estudo efetuado junto de uma turma de 4.º ano de escolaridade do 1.º CEB com a intenção de verificar qual o impacto que o jogo na Natureza pode ter ao nível da aprendizagem de conteúdos de Literacia Financeira.
