O cool hunting como metodologia aplicável ao trade marketing

Abstract

A presente dissertação procura aferir de que forma é que o cool hunting pode ser uma mais-valia para o Trade Marketing, já que se tem verificado, por meio do autor De la Torre (2007, citado por Carriço, 2012), que a relação entre os cool hunters e as empresas é uma constante em crescimento e também que existem diversas marcas que têm demonstrado interesse nas informações dadas pelos especialistas em questão, e ainda porque os Estudos de Tendências são uma área que está a emergir e é algo que exige uma contínua revisão das suas metodologias, assim como dos seus conceitos (Gomes et al., 2021). Mais concretamente, as minhas perguntas de investigação são: “De que modo podemos relacionar a metodologia cool hunting com o Trade Marketing?”; “Em que medida é que o cool hunting pode ajudar na toma de decisões no que concerne ao Trade Marketing?”. Para responder a estas questões, realizo uma revisão bibliográfica e faço entrevistas a pessoas ligadas ao cool e a profissionais de Marketing e Trade Marketing, tentando precisamente relacionar o cool hunting com o Trade Marketing, através dos cool hunters. As conclusões deste documento demonstram que o cool hunting pode ser uma mais-valia para o Trade Marketing por esta metodologia estudar o cool, o qual oferece a diferenciação necessária para impulsionar as vendas deste campo do Marketing. Desta forma, sublinho precisamente a relevância do estudo do cool.
