Abstract

As tecnologias podem alterar o modo como o aluno se posiciona face aos conhe cimentos que adquire ou tenta adquirir. As próprias tecnologias podem ser usadas pelos alunos de diferentes modos e para diferentes fins. A Escola pode ajudar os alunos a encon trar modos de utilização para que passem de meros consumidores a produtores do seu conhecimento. Neste texto apresentamos as experiências levadas a cabo, no âmbito do Cen tro de Competência TIC (CCTIC) da Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (ESE/IPS) e em particular do seu Projeto EduScratch, que colocam o aluno no centro do desenvolvimento do seu conhecimento. Depois de uma fase de aprendizagem de uma ferramenta de programação, os alunos, em grupo, devem desenvolver os seus próprios pro jetos originais que serão apresentados em grupo. Pelo caminho, ajudados por uma equipa de professores, terão que pesquisar e criar.
