Abstract

O objectivo deste projecto consiste na elaboração de uma Banda Desenhada muda. A escolha deste projecto tem relevância pelo facto de no mercado existirem menos exemplos, deste tipo de Banda Desenhada e pela possibilidade de levar aos limites máximos possíveis a inexistência de texto e onomatopeias. Tendo como inspiração e ponto de partida o conto infantil João e o Pé de Feijão (1807) de Benjamin Tabart, a BD realizada não se limitou à tradução do conto. Este apenas foi tido em conta como ponto de partida, tendo sido elaborada uma nova história, com novos personagens e cenários. A investigação centrou-se no desenvolvimento das personagens, cenários, cor, sequência e movimento, de forma a explorar as potencialidades da ausência total do “ruido” que caracterizam as BD não mudas e com essa dificuldade acrescida encontrar a melhor forma de transmissão da mensagem.
