Perceção e atitudes face ao risco no setor florestal

Abstract

Este trabalho aborda as perceções e atitudes face ao risco no setor florestal, pretende-se demonstrar até que ponto os trabalhadores deste setor de atividade estão conscientes e têm conhecimento dos riscos presentes no desenvolvimento das suas tarefas e que atitudes estes tomam para tornar estas tarefas mais seguras. A metodologia utilizada teve por base uma análise qualitativa, mediante realização de entrevistas aos trabalhadores. Foi através da “riqueza” das suas respostas que se pôde obter conclusões significativas para compreender melhor a realidade do setor e ajudar a tornar o trabalho mais seguro. Serão abordados alguns conceitos de segurança no trabalho estreitamente ligados à perceção dos riscos onde serão desenvolvidos alguns aspetos pertinentes que poderão ajudar a melhor interpretar as conclusões obtidas. O setor de atividade em estudo foi caracterizado de uma forma geral ao longo do trabalho e cada tarefa analisada foi abordada de uma forma mais específica pretendendo garantir que o leitor fique familiarizado com o tema.
