Comportamentos seguros versus comportamentos de risco

Abstract

Esta dissertação efetua uma análise sobre comportamentos seguros versus de risco. Os objetivos gerais deste estudo são: o entendimento do influxo que a cultura e clima de segurança exercem sobre os comportamentos humanos em contexto real de trabalho, e aferir a influência das socializações – primária e secundária – nesses comportamentos. A metodologia utilizada alicerçou-se nos métodos quantitativos e qualitativos – inquéritos e conversas informais – os quais, possibilitaram aos trabalhadores a liberdade necessária para transmitir o concreto laboral. Com o propósito de descobrir as perceções dos trabalhadores face à Segurança no Trabalho e meio envolvente, realizaram-se três tipos de inquéritos direcionados às funções exercidas - Gestão de topo, Técnicos de segurança e Trabalhadores executantes. Perante as respostas e relatos obtidos, verificou-se a existência e a preeminência afirmativa sobre as questões colocadas, embora a necessidade de proximidade entre as distintas funções e a necessidade de auscultação dos trabalhadores seja uma das evidências. Também é evidente que a cultura de segurança “exerce o seu poder” sobre o clima de segurança, o que, por sua vez, condiciona as atitudes comportamentais – seguras ou de risco.
