Mobilidade e acessibilidade urbana

Abstract

A acessibilidade e a mobilidade são os problemas que batem hoje a engenharia e o planeamento territorial, pois permitem que todos os membros da sociedade se sintam valorizados e realmente integrados. O estudo teve como objetivos saber o estado que se encontra a acessibilidade e a mobilidade no município de Viana e entender, ainda, os problemas que estão na causa da pouca mobilidade e acessibilidade. Portanto, para isto utilizou-se o método de qualitativo com abordagem bibliográfica e de estudo de campo, com aplicação da pesquisa descritiva. A amostra foi constituída por, apenas um município (Viana). Após um breve e profundo estudo sobre as questões e problemáticas levantadas constatou-se que todos os espaços públicos urbanos devem apresentar condições de movimentação para locomoção, para todo e qualquer tipo de pedestre tendo em conta a condição, limitação e capacidades e características de cada indivíduo.
