Rentabilidade do setor das farmácias

Abstract

A farmácia em Portugal depara-se com um novo modelo de negócio. Foram inúmeras as mudanças no setor a nível politico e financeiro, que vieram alterar por completo a realidade da farmácia vivida até meados de 2011. Em 2011, com o memorando de entendimento com a TROIKA, as farmácias perderam a margem fixa de lucro sobre o PVP dos medicamentos, passando para uma margem regressiva com a adição de um fee por embalagem vendida, que privilegia a venda dos medicamentos mais baratos em de teor dos medicamentos mais caros. Este novo sistema de margens, veio descapitalizar as farmácias, fazendo com que muitas perdessem a capacidade de fazer face aos seus encargos financeiros, o que fez aumentar o numero de farmácias com crédito vencido em Portugal. Para superar todas estas novas dificuldades, a farmácia necessita de negociar com os seus fornecedores descontos sobre os medicamentos genéricos e precisa de vender um sortido de produtos de margem fixa, para aumentar a sua rentabilidade. Com o intuito de entreajuda e de procurar aceder ao medicamento em melhores condições, foram criados grupos de farmácias que proporcionam reduzir custos a nível da compra de medicamentos e a nível administrativo. Embora o novo modelo de negócio tenha alterado bastante o setor farmacêutico, a farmácia continua a ser um negócio viável, contudo necessita de uma gestão atenta e ponderada.
