Abstract

Atualmente e cada vez mais, as organizações recorrem a formas de trabalho que permitem flexibilidade na contratação de trabalhadores, recorrendo frequentemente a empresas de trabalho temporário. Surgem com as novas formas de organização do trabalho e com o emprego flexível uma maior relevância a constructos como o comprometimento que agem como elementos que potenciam os processos organizacionais e possibilitam a criação de um sentido de pertença de todos os trabalhadores (Meyer e Herscovitch, 2001). Este trabalho procura analisar o comprometimento organizacional dos trabalhadores temporários e dos trabalhadores da empresa utilizadora de uma empresa do setor automóvel, identificando a existência de diferentes níveis de comprometimento. Desta forma, aborda-se no enquadramento teórico o trabalho temporário (evolução das formas de organização do trabalho) e o comprometimento organizacional. A nível metodológico aplicou-se o inquérito por questionário validado por Nascimento et al. (2008) para o contexto português, que tem por base o modelo e instrumento dos autores Allen e Meyer (1997) no âmbito da temática do comprometimento organizacional.
