Abstract

A pandemia por COVID-19 originou uma profunda mudança no mundo, percebendo se a vulnerabilidade da sociedade à ocorrência de novas doenças. Considerando que os profissionais de saúde e sociais se encontram expostos a esta realidade e vulnerabilidades, procurou-se compreender o papel das estratégias de autocuidado na perceção de qualidade de vida profissional e sintomas psicopatológicos dos profissionais de saúde e sociais, bem como identificar o impacto das variáveis sócio-demográficas género, habilitações académicas, estado civil, existência de filhos, perceção sobre o ambiente laboral, aumento da carga laboral, tipo de horários de trabalho, falta de materiais para ajudar no combate à Covid-19, contacto direto com doentes Covid-19, medo de contágio ou de contagiar outros, necessidade de ajuda suplementar e estratégias de autocuidado nestas variáveis, em contexto de pandemia
