O uso de plasma rico em plaquetas na dermatologia

Abstract

O Plasma Rico em Plaquetas é um produto autólogo preparado a partir do próprio sangue do paciente. É usado como terapia, na forma de injeções com concentração de plaquetas para acelerar a cicatrização de tendões, ligamentos, músculos e articulações lesionados. Desta forma, as injeções de PRP estimulam o sistema de recuperação individual para melhorar os problemas musculoesqueléticos e cicatrizações. Neste enquadramento, o estudo teve por objetivo analisar se uma nova formulação simples contendo material autólogo derivado de plaquetas permite a geração rápida e de baixo custo de uma matriz de fibrina derivada da matriz plaquetária, podendo ser usada para melhorar a cicatrização após procedimentos cutâneos. Esta revisão sistemática sobre o uso do PRP na dermatologia, que englobou 46 artigos. Toda a informação considerada relevante, foi sistematizada de acordo com as variáveis em estudo. Concluiu-se, que o PRP pode ser usado para tratamento e estimulação da cicatrização de feridas de todos os tipos, incluindo queimaduras e zonas dadores de enxerto de pele de espessura parcial, usados com frequência para tratamento de queimaduras. De referir ainda, a existência de estudos relacionados com metodologias de obtenção do PRP, com o objetivo de maximizar as técnicas e obter proteção máxima para os elementos celulares.
