Abstract

ABSTRACT - This final report was prepared within the framework of the Professional Internship, a curricular unit inserted in the 2nd year study plan of the Master in Dance Teaching, at Escola Superior de Dança, and was applied at Conservatório de Dança do Vale do Sousa (CDVS), with students who attends the 3rd year of specialized artistic education, into the discipline of Classical Dance Technique, during the year 2017/2018, into the discipline of Classical Dance Technique. The main objective of this internship will be to observe the effects of the application of three teaching styles of the Musta Mosston Spectrum: style B - Practice, style C - Reciprocal and style D - self-check, in Classical Dance Technique (3rd year) of the specialized artistic education, focusing on the autonomy and motivation of the students. In pursuit of the main objective, this study will be carried out under the aegis of research-action methodology and using the specific tools: logbook, observation grids and questionnaire. The result of this study points to a clear perception of the relationship between the pedagogical behavior of the dance teacher, namely in making decisions related to the choice of teaching styles and the motivation and autonomy of the students involved.

O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito do Estágio Profissional, unidade curricular inserida no plano de estudos do segundo ano do Curso de Mestrado em Ensino de Dança da Escola Superior de Dança, tendo sido aplicado no Conservatório de Dança do Vale do Sousa (CDVS), aos alunos de 3º ano, ao longo do ano 2017/2018, na disciplina de Técnica de Dança Clássica. O objetivo principal, cujos resultados são apresentados neste relatório, será o de observar os efeitos da aplicação de três estilos de ensino do Espetro de Muska Mosston: estilo B ‘Prática’, estilo C ‘Recíproco’ e estilo D ‘Auto-verificação’, nas aulas de Técnica de Dança Clássica (3º ano) do ensino artístico especializado, na autonomia e motivação dos alunos. Na persecução do objetivo principal, este trabalho de investigação foi realizado sob a égide da Investigação-ação e utilizando os instrumentos: diário de bordo, grelhas de observação e questionário. O resultado deste estudo, aponta uma perceção clara da relação entre o comportamento pedagógico do professor de dança, nomeadamente na tomada de decisões relacionadas com a escolha dos estilos de ensino e a motivação e autonomia dos alunos envolvidos.
