Bem estar subjetivo em doentes cardíacos: fatores determinantes

Abstract

PALAVRAS CHAVE Bem-estar subjetivo, afetos positivos, afetos negativos, balanço afetivo, doença cardiovascular.ABSTRACT Background: The subjective well-being consists essentially of two dimensions: a cognitive dimension and an affective dimension. The cognitive dimension can be termed as satisfaction with life. The affective dimension is composed of the positive affect and negative affect, and emotional balance of the individual are obtained by the differences between positive and negative affect. Goal: In order to identify if the socio-demographic variables influence the SWB in a hospitalized patient's heart UCIC, to analyze how the stress, the anxiety and the depression can influence the SWB; to assess whether other disorders, the use of antidepressant medication and / or cardiac influences the SWB; to assess how health habits influence the SWB. Methodology: Quantitative analysis, cross-sectional, descriptive - correlational. Performed in 90 patients admitted to coronary care units, being 64.4% male and 35.6% female. The collection of information includes a survey questionnaire composed of well-being - PANAS (Watson, Clark & Tellegen, 1988), scales of anxiety, depression and stress - SADS (Lovibond, P., & Lovibond, S, 1995) , and some personal lifestyles that were relevant to the study. Results: We found statistical significance for the PA, in individuals aged ≤ 48 years old and individuals 62-70 years old (p= 00,018) and individuals of 71-78 years old (p=0.009), among individuals with physical limitations for daily activities and those with severe physical limitations (p = 0.038). Conclusion: This confirms the hypothesis in part on the PA and emotional balance in relation to age, physical limitation and PA. It is confirmed for the full earned income. KEYWORDS: Subjective well-being, positive affect, negative affect, emotional balance, cardiovascular disease.
