Abstract

De acordo com o estado da arte acerca da estrutura do serviço de urgência dos hospitais, da especificidade da sala de emergência, da situação crítica vivenciada pela pessoa e sua família, das barreiras à comunicação em contexto de situação crítica e tendo em conta as competências do enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, foi identificada como necessidade a presença de um suporte descritivo do que é uma sala de emergência e como se encontra o doente crítico, que seja um meio facilitador para que se efetive o acolhimento do acompanhante perante a complexidade do espaço que é esta sala. Esta necessidade foi refletida no contexto de estágio no âmbito da Pós Licenciatura em Enfermagem e resultou na criação desta proposta de poster.
