Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of this work seeks to reflect on the stage performed under the Master's degree in Nursing Family Health and critically evaluate theories and models, literature and data relevant to advanced practice nursing. The purpose of this report, which emerged from the stage, if the interpersonal relationship established between nurse and family promotes access to home visits. As methodology was conducted a search in EBSCO (CINAHL Plus with Full Text). This search was carried out in scientific papers published in full text (09/08/2011), published between 01/01/2005 and 08/09/2011, using the following keywords: Nurse-patient relations AND Home visit and Family. Used the method of PI(C)O 3 articles and selected a total of 6. After systematic review of the literature shows the role of family nurse promising as an agent of change in primary health care through the nursing family, in a context of proximity to care for a limited number of families included in a specific community. Thus, the context must be perceived home through a comprehensive perspective that goes beyond the physical space, which considers the environment as a set of things, events, and humans and correlated to some extent, represent entities whose particular character and interfering mutual and simultaneous.
