A parentalidade positiva rumo à capacitação parental

Abstract

Este relatório assenta sobre a temática da parentalidade positiva rumo à capacitação parental. Assume como objetivo geral a compreensão das intervenções desenvolvidas pelo enfermeiro, assentes na parentalidade positiva, que fomentam a capacitação parental junto da criança doente. A análise emerge da reflexão crítica da prática de cuidados, enquadrando a mesma num contexto mais abrangente que se alia ao exercício da prática baseada em evidências. Através da Revisão Sistemática da Literatura, mobilizam-se contributos que potenciam a qualidade dos cuidados de enfermagem prestados às crianças e seus pais. Conclui-se que as intervenções utilizadas pelo enfermeiro podem ser implementadas em distintas esferas do cuidado à criança e à sua família, apelando a uma intervenção com os pais, alicerçada no potencial parental. A promoção da parentalidade positiva pressupõe apoio, suporte e reforço positivo no papel parental, no sentido da sua responsabilização e participação ativa.
