A busca pela sobrevivência económica, pelo bem-estar e pela qualidade de vida são impulsores da participação ativa de mulheres e homens no mercado de trabalho. Diariamente, em muitas famílias, mulheres e homens precisam conciliar a relação trabalho-família. O presente estudo teve com objetivo compreender como a relação trabalho-família, em particular, olhando o nível do conflito e do enriquecimento, se associam com a parentalidade e a satisfação conjugal, em indivíduos com filhos de idades compreendidas entre os 0 e os 3 anos. Participaram do estudo, quantitativo e transversal, 129 participantes, sendo 97% mulheres, com idades compreendidas entre os 22 e os 46 anos. O protocolo de investigação foi divulgado online e a recolha de dados foi realizada a nível nacional, usando um conjunto de instrumentos para avaliar o conflito trabalho-família, o enriquecimento trabalho-família, a confiança parental e satisfação parental, bem como a satisfação conjugal. Os resultados evidenciam que (a) observa-se uma relação positiva entre o Enriquecimento na relação Família-Trabalho e a Confiança Parental; (b) verifica-se uma relação positiva entre Enriquecimento Trabalho-Família e a Satisfação Conjugal; (c) a vivência de Conflito Emocional na relação Trabalho-Família tem um efeito preditor de menores níveis de Satisfação Parental; (d) o Enriquecimento Família-Trabalho baseado no afeto revela-se preditor quer da Confiança Parental quer da Satisfação Conjugal; (e) indivíduos que não têm flexibilidade de horário experienciam maior nível de Conflito Trabalho-Família, enquanto que indivíduos que indicam uma flexibilidade de horário no seu trabalho, experienciam maiores níveis de Enriquecimento Trabalho-Família.

The search for economic survival, for well-being and quality of life are drivers of the active participation of women and men in the labor market. Daily, in many families, women and men need to reconcile the work-family relationship. This study aimed to understand how the work-family relationship, looking at the level of conflict and enrichment, are associated with parenting and marital satisfaction, in individuals with children aged between 0 and 3 years. The study had 129 participants, 97% women and 3% men, aged between 22 and 46 years, being quantitative and cross-sectional. The research protocol was released online, and data collection was carried out at national level, using a set of instruments to assess work-family conflict, work-family enrichment, parental trust, parental satisfaction, and marital satisfaction. Results highlight that (a) there is a positive relationship between Family-Work Enrichment and Parental Confidence; (b) there is a positive relationship between Work-Family Enrichment and Conjugal Satisfaction; (c) the experience of Emotional Conflict in the WorkFamily relationship predicts lower levels of Parental Satisfaction; (d) Work-family Enrichment based on affection proves to be a predictor of both Parental Confidence and Conjugal Satisfaction; (e) individuals who do not have time flexibility experience a higher level of Work-Family Conflict, while individuals who indicate time flexibility in their work experience higher levels of Work-Family Enrichment.
