Parentalidade positiva na reunificação familiar

Abstract

Este estudo visa o desenvolvimento de pistas para a intervenção junto de famílias após a desinstitucionalização das crianças/jovens, numa ótica de parentalidade positiva, e com recurso à mediação familiar. Pretende-se maximizar as potencialidades das famílias, para que as crianças se possam desenvolver em ambientes saudáveis e securizantes. Assim, este estudo pretende contribuir para os seguintes objetivos: (a) identificar os fatores de proteção e as dificuldades sentidas pelas famílias, aquando do regresso das crianças/jovens ao agregado familiar, após um período de institucionalização, (b) caracterizar o nível de stresse e de resiliência vivido pelas famílias aquando do regresso da criança/jovem ao agregado familiar, (c) determinar o tipo de apoio prestado pelas instituições no momento de reunificação familiar e quais os sentimentos da família acerca desse apoio, e (d) analisar se a mediação se assume como uma técnica importante na gestão de conflitos dentro e fora do seio familiar neste período de tempo.
