Abstract

Actualmente o insucesso escolar tem sido alvo de inúmeros estudos, reflexões e preocupações quer por parte dos governantes quer de todos os outros agentes sociais. Pais, professores e alunos encontramse no centro das discussões. O que se entende por insucesso escolar? Quais os indicadores que permitem identificar o insucesso escolar? A resposta a estas questões, pressupõe numa primeira etapa a compreensão do fenómeno, ou seja, o que é insucesso escolar.
