Abstract

The irnportance of gender role in the differentiation between sexes is refereed as well as its’ acquisition during prenatal life, infancy, and school time, stressing what society today expects and demands of women and men and questioning if a total identity between sexes is fundamental. The interaction between parents and their children is set forth, sustaining the strength of the relationship with the mother, which begins during gestation and remains the whole life through.
